Days become weeks, weeks become years, years are your life.
There are many uncertainties in life, but you can choose, your thoughts, actions and reactions, however hard that is to do.
I cannot control my life, but I do have some control over myself and transforming myself has been a journey that I started many years ago and continue to do now, one day at a time.
My own journey and my clients’ journeys at LEAP Fitness have inspired me to reflect on the key areas where I believe there needs to be change. It has come down to seven areas and over the next seven weeks I will offer my and LEAP Fitness PT Jordan’s simple top tips, for making sustainable changes for a happier healthier life.
I have made huge improvements in all seven areas that I am going to write about. Some were easier than others and some I still need to work hard on. Also, I am not perfect, I’m not a ‘life natural’ sailing through and finding everything easy and I encourage you to try out my tips if you can, but don’t strive for perfection, just improvement.
I live one day at a time as much as I can and this means focusing my mind on today only and what I can do today to live in a way that supports what is important to me in life.
if I get to the end of each day happy with my thoughts, actions and reactions and compassionate with myself when I have made mistakes, I will get to the end of each week happy and then each month, year and so on.
